Day 2: Killarney to Killorglin (26 miles)
Cycle through Killarney National Park and visit Muckross Friary and Muckross House. Follow the course of the River Laune to the town of Killorglin where you overnight.
Day 3: Killorglin to Dingle (34 miles)
Cycle along the shores of Dingle Bay to the attractive and lively fishing village of Dingle where you will overnight for 3 nights. Inch Beach gives you an opportunity to swim in the cooling waters of the Atlantic.
Day 4: Dingle to Slea Head Circuit (28 miles)
Cycle around the renowned Slea Head in Dunquin "the nearest parish to America". Archeological remains abound and there are spectacular views of the coast and the Blasket Islands. This is one of the few remaining areas where the Gaelic language is still spoken in the home.
Day 5: Rest Day/ Option Cycles
Optional cycle or visit Fungi, Dingles own dolphin, visit the Blasket Islands or simply enjoy the numerous craft shops, restaurants and pubs in Dingle.
Day 6: Dingle to Castlegregory (15 or 23 miles)
Todays cycle takes you over the highest road pass in Ireland, the Connor Pass and over the spine of the peninsula to reach the beaches of the Maharees Peninsula.
Day 7: Castlegregory to Killarney (30 miles)
Cycle over the spine of the peninsula along less travelled backroads, along the inner end of Dingle Bay and back to Killarney.
Day 8: Departure.
After your final breakfast in your guesthouse you may opt for a complimentary transfer to either Shannon or Kerry Airport (see transfer times below)
Shannon airport transfers
Shannon airport to accommodation at 11:00AM and 4:00PM on Saturdays from the information point in the arrivals hall. Return transfer arrives at Shannon airport at 11.00 on Saturdays.
Kerry airport to accommodation, between 8:00AM and 6:00PM Hrs. Return transfer arrives at Kerry airport between 8:00AM and 6:00PM Hrs on Saturdays.
Clients who cannot make these transfer times should make their own way to the accommodation. Arrangements can be made for taxi transfers, at the clients own expense.
